Crockpot Heaven

I love my crockpot and use it about once a week, at least. I have the best book, Fix it and Forget it, which is a wonderful resource for recipes. Here's todays, Beef Stew:

1 lb cut up meat (I buy cheap roasts and chop them up)
4 T flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 C water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1 garlic clove
1 bay leaf
4 cut up carrots
3 cut up potatoes
1 cut up onion
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp marjoram

Coat meat in flour, salt, paprika, and pepper. Put in crockpot. Mix in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on High for 4 to 6 hours or Low for 10-12 hours.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I love your recipe blog - I found many I need to write down. I am always looking for new things to try.

Do your pronounce your name Mar (as in car) en (in)? Our youngest daughters name is Mauryn (pronounced Mar as in car yn pronounced in). I wanted a Maura and my husband wanted a Brynn so we compromised and spelled it using parts of our favorite names. I so love it!
